Job Summary

Own privacy and information-release governance and align marketing and PR across departments to support census growth while staying compliant with privacy rules.

  • Policy and program ownership: Draft and enforce information-release policies that cover residents, staff, and facility data.
  • Cross-department collaboration: Coordinate marketing and PR programs so every team understands its role in the effort.
  • Staff enablement: Educate staff on their part in marketing and public relations initiatives and execution.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the release of information concerning the residents, employees, and/or the facility in accordance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations.
  • Assist the Administrator and department directors in the development and use of marketing and public relations policies and procedures.
  • Establish a rapport in and between departments so that each staff member can realize the importance of their role in our marketing and public relations programs.
  • Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, educate, and direct the facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities.
  • Maintain and increase the facility’s census by providing the community with information about the facility’s programs, services, and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Microsoft Suite products).
  • Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator.
