Job Description

Responsibilities

  • assist in enhancing public awareness about the organization's mission, drafting and distributing press releases, maintaining media relations, and collaborating on strategic communication campaigns.
  • Additional responsibilities include preparing media kits, coordinating outreach efforts, and supporting community-based events.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Press Releases and Media Relations
  • Proficiency in Public Relations techniques and practices
  • Experience in Communication and Strategic Communications planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional relationships with the media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for advocacy and social impact
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field

Preferred

  • Knowledge of bullying prevention and advocacy is a plus
