Job Description

Responsibilities

Overseeing and supporting the creation of content for business focus areas and priorities, partnering with functional colleagues and leadership to align to business objectives and messaging
Leading, preparing and developing messaging to position Northrop Grumman priorities
Partnering with communications colleagues to develop a holistic and integrated communication strategy to achieve business and communication goals
Preparing and sharing metrics on communications efforts and leveraging those results to evolve strategies and approaches to achieve business objectives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience or master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and deploying strategic communications campaigns and measuring business impact
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience or master’s degree and minimum of 6 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and deploying strategic communications campaigns and measuring business impact

Nice To Have

Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization
Experience developing productive relationships with executives
Experience in technology, aerospace, defense or other science-related business or government fields
Demonstrated judgement in decision making and leadership actions with capabilities to drive change through creative and/or other disruptive methods, ideas & approaches
