Job Summary

Own and shape critical publisher tracking and identity work that lets CJ measure how publishers drive shopping across devices, while balancing privacy and evolving browser controls.

  • Publisher tracking ownership: Define the end-to-end tracking roadmap and ship publisher-facing solutions grounded in evidence.
  • Identity and privacy focus: Guide cross-device identity strategy amid privacy regulation and platform changes.
  • Cross-functional delivery: Partner on market discovery, weigh tradeoffs under constraints, and align engineering with product and GTM plans.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Publisher tracking ownership: Own CJ’s publisher-facing tracking solutions, end-to-end, shaping the roadmap and decisions grounded in evidence.
  • Identity and privacy focus: Help shape identity strategy across browser privacy controls, regulations, and cross-device journeys across shopping surfaces.
  • Assessments and governance: Partner on market assessments, discovery, and tradeoff decisions with engineering to ship value and learn.
  • Decision making under constraints: Weigh tradeoffs and prioritize under competing requests, limited capacity, and imperfect data.
  • Engineering partnership: Collaborate daily with a dedicated engineering team using Agile to ship, learn, and iterate.
  • Success definition: Define success criteria and metrics, using learnings to adjust course.
  • Domain expertise: Serve as go-to authority for leadership, sales, marketing, and clients with complex technical topics.
  • Cross-domain coordination: Manage dependencies with other product areas to keep scope and timelines aligned.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in product management, ideally on data systems, measurement, identity, or APIs.
  • Strong ecommerce understanding across web, mobile web, in-app, and marketplaces, and how behavior is tracked.
  • Autonomous decision maker who frames ambiguous problems and chooses direction.
  • Technical fluency with web/mobile tracking, data pipelines, APIs, and architecture to credibly partner with engineers.
  • Strong discovery instincts and ability to validate problems with real users before building.
  • Analytical judgment for prioritization amid ambiguity and data signals.
  • Excellent communication to executives, clients, and sales in writing and speaking.
  • AI fluency to use AI tools across discovery, design, and solution development.
  • Comfort with distributed teams and remote collaboration.

Preferred

  • Background in performance marketing, ad tech, or commerce media.
  • Familiarity with identity resolution, attribution, or privacy-enhancing tech.
  • Exposure to data architecture, data streaming, cloud architecture, or API development.
  • SaaS or platform product experience.
  • Hands-on Agile delivery experience with tools like Jira.
