Job Summary

Lead product strategy and lifecycle for agricultural products, driving launches, value propositions, and cross‑functional commercialization.

  • Owns full product lifecycle planning with pricing, portfolio optimization, and channel programs.
  • Must-have: MBA or equivalent business experience plus 4+ years in sales, marketing, or brand management.
  • Standout: Deep agriculture industry experience in crop nutrition, biologicals, or related areas.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Derive customer insights to guide product management strategy.
  • Lead new product launches and support growth of legacy brands.
  • Develop unique value propositions aligned with customer needs.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including value pricing, brand laddering, and portfolio optimization.
  • Validate operational product forecasts within the SIOP/procurement process.
  • Quantify market opportunities, build business cases, conduct NPV analysis, and identify portfolio gaps and white spaces.
  • Educate internal sales teams and external partners on product technologies and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to create integrated marketing and product plans for key customers.
  • Design, deploy, and track channel marketing programs, including seller incentives, rebates, and early‑fill programs.
  • Partner with Technical Development and Product Management teams to leverage customer insights for campaigns and product development.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Agronomy, or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and/or brand management.
  • Agriculture Experience, specifically in the areas of crop nutrition , fertilizer enhancers , seed inoculants and treatments , biologicals , bio stimulants and micronutrients is preferred.
