Job Summary

Drive community-facing marketing and referral-network development for a behavioral health practice.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, contact, and build relationships with referral partners including PCPs, pediatricians, psychiatrists, school counselors, attorneys, judges, court administrators, HR departments, and EAPs
  • Conduct in-person visits to referral partner offices on a regular schedule (several times per week)
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and leave-behind materials about the practice
  • Attend networking events, health fairs, and community meetings to promote the practice
  • Track and manage all referral relationships using a CRM or contact management system
  • Report monthly on referral source activity, trends, and conversion rates
  • Develop and execute a content calendar for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Create engaging, HIPAA-compliant content: graphics, short videos, posts, and stories
  • Manage and update the practice website; coordinate with web vendors as needed
  • Design and distribute patient and referral partner email newsletters (e.g., via Mailchimp or Constant Contact)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Health, or related field — OR equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Demonstrated track record in marketing, outreach, sales, or business development experience
  • Proven experience building external relationships or managing a referral/sales territory
  • Strong proficiency with social media platforms and at least one design tool (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to small groups
  • Self-starter who can work independently, manage a schedule, and stay accountable without close supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community visits
  • Understanding of HIPAA and sensitivity to the nature of behavioral health services

Preferred

  • Experience marketing mental health, medical, or wellness services
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and CRM tools
  • Preference given to those with existing relationships with referral sources in Berks, Lancaster, Chester, Lebanon, Montgomery, Schuylkill Counties or other Pennsylvania communities
  • Graphic design skills and experience with brand management
  • Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok-style) for professional use
