Job Description

Own media relations and content storytelling across parenting, lifestyle and tech audiences.

  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and media outlets; pitch story ideas to secure coverage.
  • Content Partnerships: Coordinate guest posts, product reviews, and expert features across web, print, podcasts, and TV.
  • PR Tracking: Track and report earned media coverage and PR performance.
  • Brand Messaging: Develop and refine brand messages for hardware products and myFirst Circle.
  • Content Production: Plan and produce content for owned channels and coordinate with external creators to deliver high quality assets.
  • Scripting & Copy: Write scripts, blog posts, and storyboards; ensure content aligns with brand tone for parents and kids.
  • Campaigns & Repurposing: Create campaigns that connect PR wins with owned content; repurpose long form content into bite sized social posts.
  • Quality & Consistency: Ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand across channels.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field. 3+ years experience in public relations, media outreach, or brand content creation (consumer electronics, kids, lifestyle, or tech industry preferred). Proven ability to pitch stories and secure placements in relevant media. Strong writing and storytelling skills in English; comfortable creating scripts, blog posts, and social content. Experience managing content production with external agencies, freelancers, or influencers. Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
