Job Summary

Own and shape System Marketing for POWER PG by guiding architecture strategy and market direction across segments, then advise BD and Sales on roadmaps and new power architectures.

  • POWER PG ownership of system marketing, architecture projects, and demo-enabled collateral that prove the platform and BOM stance.
  • Consult on roadmaps and NPI with BD and Sales and translate market trends into technical and business requirements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • PSMA is the face of POWER Product Group (PG).
  • Role is strategical for Power PG (direction/trends).
  • PSMA covers System Marketing for POWER PG.
  • Driving strategic System architecture Projects for POWER.
  • PSMA acts as a consultant for Business Divisions (BD) and Sales on Systems and application Clusters topics; supports Roadmap creation and NPI definition to the Business Divisions; provides power market guidance to sales and BDs, highlighting trends and new technical requirements and emerging power architectures.
  • Members of PSMA should mix a combination 50-50% of business and technical marketing skills; being System experts with business acumen.
  • The team supports all POWER products portfolio across all Market Segments, analyzing SAM and trends to determine main changes in architectures and power component BOMs.
  • PSMA analyzes market competitors in power, benchmarking Renesas portfolio and identifying gaps in portfolio and roadmap.
  • PSMA focuses on main impact areas, aligned with market dynamics.
  • The team collaborates to support Application clusters and provides quasi 24-hour support across geographies when feasible.
  • The team generates collaterals including System Block Diagrams, System Simulations, and demo-boards to demonstrate System architecture and establish Renesas BOM to customers.
  • Hardware for demos will be realized with third-party IDH support and by the PSMA laboratory in Bangalore.
  • Providing Power Roadmap feedback to all Product Lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in Power in roles like semiconductors technical marketing, semi product definition, system design, system architecture, reference designs
  • Strong understanding of power management semiconductor ICs, AC/DC, DC/DC converters, Battery Management, Si/WBG and trending power architectures and technologies
  • Experience working with Data Infrastructure system knowledge, with deep understanding of block diagrams with details of components parts, being able to generate those and populate with power parts to address the entire application
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Team building, open minded, business oriented, active listening, able to interface with customer and company stakeholders, self-initiative, self motivating, prepared to continue changing, learning and growing
