Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and centralize portfolio‑level KOL engagement strategy, including formal advice‑seeking (ad boards, councils) and informal engagement, ensuring consistency, compliance, and strategic impact.
  • Establish enterprise frameworks, planning discipline, and governance for insight generation to replace ad hoc approaches with rigorous, repeatable strategies at the brand and portfolio levels.
  • Provide HQ strategic and operational support to regional marketing directors and orTLLs, enabling consistent insight capture across congresses, speaker programs, and field engagements while keeping teams focused on the customer.
  • Support portfolio‑level congress strategy, including pre‑, during‑, and post‑congress activation and customer journey design aligned to unified Tx and PrEP field teams.
  • Lead the annual US business planning process and three in‑year strategic check‑ins to proactively reassess priorities, investments, and execution—moving planning beyond a once‑a‑year exercise.
  • Serve as primary AOR lead and portfolio strategist for dual‑branded materials, ensuring disciplined strategy and pull‑through across teams and customer‑specific (e.g., IDN) materials.
  • Act as a strategic connector (“red thread”) across marketing, medical, P2P, and field teams to align US portfolio strategies with brand plans and long‑range LCM priorities.
  • Ensure all engagement, insight, and content activities adhere to GSK/ViiV policies and compliance standards in close partnership with Medical, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Portfolio‑level strategic leadership across multiple brands
  • Ownership of US business planning cadence and portfolio governance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing
  • Leadership experience in Portfolio or enterprise marketing strategy, OR KOL engagement and insight generation, OR Business planning and investment governance, OR Agency and matrix leadership, OR Business planning and investment governance, OR Agency and matrix leadership

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience with lifecycle management, competitive planning, and launch readiness
  • Enterprise thinking and executive influence
  • Strong compliance acumen
  • Ability to translate insights into strategy and execution
  • Proven leadership in complex, matrixed organizations
