Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shows support and high esteem for MPCS
  • Shows excitement for student programming and telling the MPCS story
  • Assist in the enhancement of digital media for communications which includes all facets of the school (academics, athletics, arts, and Christian life)
  • Helps develop and carry out the MPCS social media plan
  • Responsible for photography of events and activities on campus
  • Content creator capturing day-to-day photos and editing stories for social media
  • Culls and color corrects imagery for posting, archiving, online ecommerce platform
  • Responsible for all social media content on all school social platforms, daily
  • Manages digital data and analytics for social platforms
  • Monitors online performance and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree, experience, or training in social media content management and/or photography
  • Experience or training in social media data and analytics
  • Skills in social media advertising and metrics
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM content strategies or Google Analytics a plus
  • Expert in Photography (Camera and technology)
  • Knowledge of exposure, frame rate, composure, shutter speed, camera set-up
  • Proficient in Photo Editing Software (Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop)
  • Light knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator or InDesign)
  • Demonstrates impeccable writing skills and an eye for detail
  • Highly organized, thorough, and meets deadlines
  • Digitally savvy to problem-solve camera equipment, software, and social platforms
  • Flexibility in schedule as needed for non-school hour content delivery
  • Proven multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
