Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary strategic advisor for assigned client portfolio (5-8 accounts)
  • Translate client business objectives into comprehensive growth strategies across social and complementary channels
  • Understand client business models, challenges, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities through strategic analysis
  • Lead monthly strategy calls and quarterly business reviews focused on business outcomes
  • Position yourself as a trusted business advisor and an indispensable growth partner
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships
  • Design paid social strategies that integrate with the broader marketing funnel
  • Think in terms of customer journey and business outcomes (CAC, LTV, revenue), not just campaign metrics
  • Understand how social interacts with search, SEO, creative, and other channels
  • Provide strategic recommendations on channel allocation, budget optimization, and creative direction
  • Leverage competitive intelligence, platform trends, and market insights to inform strategy
  • Be comfortable discussing and advising on channels beyond social when it serves client goals
  • Transform performance data into actionable business recommendations
  • Effectively delegate campaign builds, optimizations, reporting, and execution to GRT (this is critical)
  • Provide clear strategic direction to offshore execution teams: define objectives, audiences, creative strategies, goals
  • Review GRT work for strategic alignment and quality (not task completion)
  • Build strong working relationships with GRT specialists across time zones
  • Communicate feedback constructively and develop offshore team capabilities
  • Trust the execution team to execute; focus your time on strategy
