Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead SEM strategy across assigned client accounts from onboarding through ongoing growth and optimization
  • Serve as the primary client-facing strategist for paid search accounts
  • Manage client communication with professionalism, responsiveness, and confidence
  • Develop and guide paid search strategies aligned with client goals, lead quality targets, and return on ad spend objectives
  • Oversee campaign structure, keyword strategy, targeting, bidding, budget allocation, and optimization across paid search platforms
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion performance and overall account health
  • Analyze account data, attribution insights, and performance trends to make clear strategic recommendations
  • Present campaign insights, results, and next steps to clients in a clear and confident way
  • Coordinate internally with teams supporting setup, tracking, attribution, execution, and reporting
  • Build strong client relationships and proactively address questions, challenges, and growth opportunities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SEM, paid search, digital marketing, account strategy, agency services, SaaS, AdTech, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads and paid search strategy
  • Experience managing client relationships and guiding account performance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in client-facing settings
  • Ability to turn campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence in leading conversations, answering questions, and advising clients directly
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting campaign performance data
  • High level of professionalism, follow-through, and accountability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and helping drive execution internally

Preferred

  • Experience in an agency or software company
  • Experience with lead generation, attribution, conversion tracking, or marketing technology
  • Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms
  • Experience building or improving internal strategy or account processes
  • Prior leadership experience or interest in growing into a senior strategist or team leadership role
