Job Description

Responsibilities

Own hosting recruitment events to promote the Girl Scout mission, including in-person meetings, presentations, and sign-up nights.
Serve as primary on-site host for registration events introducing Girl Scouting to potential new girls, volunteers, and families.
Clearly communicate the Girl Scout mission and benefits of membership, including the Leadership Experience.
Collaborate with volunteer recruiters and staff to meet event goals.
Assist with and perform registration for new members.
Record event attendance and results.
Ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults.

Requirements

Girl Scouts knowledge and/or experience preferred, but not required.
Comfortable speaking to large groups.
Have reliable transportation.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned area.
Willing to work primarily evenings and weekend hours, or daytime and weekend hours – some flexibility to work with your schedule.
Some experience in marketing or sales, nonprofit, education, or a related field of work is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel required.
Experience with Apple products is preferred.
Clearances are required.
