Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own hosting recruitment events to promote the Girl Scout mission, including in-person meetings, presentations, and sign-up nights.
  • Serve as primary on-site host for registration events introducing Girl Scouting to potential new girls, volunteers, and families.
  • Clearly communicate the Girl Scout mission and benefits of membership, including the Leadership Experience.
  • Collaborate with volunteer recruiters and staff to meet event goals.
  • Assist with and perform registration for new members.
  • Record event attendance and results.
  • Ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults.

Requirements

  • Girl Scouts knowledge and/or experience preferred, but not required.
  • Comfortable speaking to large groups.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned area.
  • Willing to work primarily evenings and weekend hours, or daytime and weekend hours – some flexibility to work with your schedule.
  • Some experience in marketing or sales, nonprofit, education, or a related field of work is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel required.
  • Experience with Apple products is preferred.
  • Clearances are required.
