Job Description

Drive GenSpark’s media strategy and partnerships to amplify brand reach and impact across channels.

  • Own media strategy and annual plan across channels (traditional, digital, OOH, podcasts).
  • Evaluate new media opportunities and test emerging channels.
  • Oversee media buying execution with agencies or direct teams.
  • Optimize media spend based on performance and audience reach.
  • Set up and monitor brand health metrics (awareness, consideration, sentiment).
  • Track media effectiveness across campaigns and run attribution analyses.
  • Report on brand campaign performance and ROI to leadership.
  • Serve as the internal point person for the external PR agency.
  • Brief PR on updates, launches, and priorities; coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships to amplify the brand.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years in brand strategy, media planning, partnerships, or related roles at tech-focused firms or agencies.
  • Strategic thinking to translate channel plans into actionable roadmaps.
  • Analytical, data-fluent; comfortable with brand tracking and attribution.
  • Experience managing external agencies (PR, media buying) for strong outputs.
  • Track record in identifying and executing co-marketing partnerships.
  • Budgets management experience (>$500K) across channels.
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies to inform strategy.
  • Deep understanding of the US media landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Startup DNA: comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
  • Clear communication to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Preferred
  • Experience in product-led growth environments, especially SaaS/tools.
  • Background in top-tier agency brand strategy or media planning.
  • Track record with tech/consumer partnerships.
