Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pre-production of government meetings, including preparation of agenda graphics and video production setup.
  • Post-production of government meetings, including trimming of productions and uploading for broadcast.
  • Assist with photographing, filming and editing City department events off-site and other assigned projects.
  • Assist with creating posts for social media using photography, graphic design, and written skills.
  • Follow the weekly program calendar to schedule Verona’s public access channel.
  • General office duties, including updating databases (i.e. e-newsletter contacts).

Requirements

  • Must be 16 or older.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with City staff and the public.
  • Ability to exercise judgement, decisiveness, and creativity with strong attention to detail.
  • Interest and/or experience in video production, graphic design, photography, social media and/or marketing.
  • Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend hours.
  • Tasks may involve light physical work both inside and outside.
