Own and drive offline advertising campaigns for animal rights awareness from kickoff to completion, shaping strategy, negotiating placements, evaluating options, and maintaining detailed project records.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage offline advertising placement projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and implement strategies for generating powerful, timely ad placements to raise awareness about animal rights issues
  • Establish and maintain relationships with sales representatives and negotiate reduced-rate or free placements
  • Determine the impact of various advertising options and make recommendations based on these determinations
  • Create and maintain detailed records of all projects
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field or two years’ experience working in a professional environment
  • An interest in advertising and public relations
  • Proven excellent project-management, strategic-thinking, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to make connections and maintain relationships with a variety of people in a professional manner
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet and set deadlines, and stay organized
  • Proven ability to take initiative and follow through
  • Ability to make sound judgments and work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a consistent pattern of proactively suggesting solutions
  • Knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns, and a desire to pursue a career in animal rights
