Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Executive Director of Marketing serves as the second-in-command within the Marketing organization and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. This role is responsible for leading the execution of marketing strategy, overseeing brand initiatives, and managing day-to-day marketing operations that support revenue growth across all Fontainebleau Miami Beach business segments.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Partner with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to implement comprehensive marketing strategies that support revenue generation across hotel rooms, events, entertainment, food & beverage, retail, and resort experiences.
  • Translate strategic marketing initiatives into actionable campaigns and operational plans.
  • Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional marketing channels.
  • Brand Management: Ensure all marketing initiatives uphold the Fontainebleau brand identity, voice, and positioning.
  • Maintain brand consistency across advertising, digital platforms, property communications, and promotional materials.
  • Support brand partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations that enhance brand visibility.
  • Marketing Operations & Team Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team, including digital marketing, brand marketing, content development, and campaign management.
  • Oversee marketing calendars, project timelines, and cross-department coordination.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance marketing culture that supports innovation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 4–6 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience within luxury hospitality, lifestyle brands, entertainment, or resort environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Expertise in brand marketing, digital marketing, and integrated campaign strategy.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into operational marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring marketing performance and ROI.
