Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Brand Management: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to enhance the visibility and reputation of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School within the community.
  • Manage the school's brand identity across various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
  • Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, and social media posts, to engage current and prospective families.
  • Public Relations and Community Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with local media outlets, community organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and its programs.
  • Coordinate diocesan news articles and promotional events to highlight school achievements, events, and initiatives.
  • Support admissions director in planning for open houses and information sessions to attract prospective students and families.
  • Manage and update the school’s website, ensuring content is up to date, accurate, and relevant.
  • Development and Fundraising: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic foundations to secure financial support for the school.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, special events (Soiree), and donor recognition programs to meet annual fundraising goals.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gifts, and contributions using donor management software.

Requirements

  • - A working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church; must also be a practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church.
  • - Excellent communications skills, verbal and written; excellent human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • - Requires excellent customer service and communication skills and great attention to detail. A pleasant, professional telephone manner is essential.
  • - Requires data entry skills, knowledge of office equipment and office procedures and excellent grammar and spelling.
  • - Exercise courtesy to fellow employees, parishioners, and the general public
  • - Must be a self-starter; well organized; perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a sense of urgency.
  • - Maintain confidentiality of transactions; maintain and respect the privacy of donors and persons served.
  • - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; punctuality is necessary at all times; ability to travel locally as required; weekend and overtime work may be required.
  • - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • - Professional bearing; clean and neat personal appearance
  • - Ability to successfully pass a background, criminal history, and credit history check.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in marketing, development, fundraising, or related roles, preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience working with volunteers.
  • Experience with special events.
