Job Summary

Own and drive the firm’s marketing initiatives for the Los Angeles studio, leading RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, interviews, awards, speaker programs, and external communications while coordinating with the Firmwide Marketing & Communications team and managing CRM and strategic partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete all sections of the RFPs and RFQs, including writing the key sections, team composition, schedule and fees, under the guidance of the Principals.
  • Prepare and complete other marketing collateral, meet deadlines for all submittals and work under the guidance of the Principals.
  • Prepare interviews decks, project tear sheets, resumes, and bios.
  • Assist in maintaining the firmwide CRM software.
  • Manage and deliver award submissions, responsible for the writing with input by team members
  • Manage and deliver speaker panels and presentations for major national conferences, responsible for the writing with input by team members
  • Coordinate with the Firmwide Marketing & Communications team including support of social media efforts.
  • Assist principals on media/publications, professional appearances, and outreach initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants and strategic partners to assist in creating the most strategically positioned and technically competent team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, plus documented professional experience
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience with marketing tasks in A/E/Landscape/Planning industry environment
  • Demonstrated graphic design/desktop publishing skills
  • Ability to write in a landscape architectural/planning capacity; Strong oral and visual communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple pursuits at any given time
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail (including spelling and grammar)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Local candidates preferred
