Job Summary

Own end-to-end event marketing for a regional business unit, driving planning, inventory management, on-site leadership, and post-event ROI insights across nationwide tradeshows and customer events.

  • Event lifecycle ownership: planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and inventory refresh.
  • On-site leadership: represent marketing, capture attendee data, and enable timely follow-up.
  • ROI-driven optimization: analyze outcomes and align with cross-functional goals to improve future events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage all CommScope events end-to-end, including internal events, external customer events, and industry tradeshows.
  • Orchestrate event planning from concept and budgeting through execution.
  • Serve as the primary owner of event inventory, ensuring assets are tracked, maintained, shipped, stored, and refreshed as needed.
  • Work closely with the exhibit house to ensure all event inventory is current, organized, properly maintained, and event-ready.
  • Manage the exhibit house relationship, including coordination, production, logistics, and on-site support.
  • Lead onsite engagement at trade shows and industry events, capturing attedee information and ensuring timely post-event follow-up.
  • Nuture and track leads via strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze event outcomes for future ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product management, and leadership to ensure events align with business objectives and brand compliance.
  • Represent CommScope on-site as the face of the marketing team, ensuring a consistent, professional presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing required or 8+ years of proven management experience across industry events and tradeshows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder partnership.
  • Highly organized with exceptional project management capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working and problem-solving in person.
  • Comfortable managing multiple events, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for all events.
