Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Sr. Manager of Events to coordinate the logistics necessary to execute events. This includes but is not limited to creating an operations plan, a run of show, venue layout, PA script, determining event activities, ordering signage, and developing a staffing plan for each event.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute innovative event experiences that enhance fan engagement and elevate the Ravens brand.
  • Support and manage event budgets, including forecasting, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation.
  • Coordinate event related communication and deadlines with internal stakeholders to ensure teamwork and collaboration organization wide.
  • Develop relationships and work with various stadium partners, external vendors and contractors for event needs leading up to, during and after each event.
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring all vendor load-in/load-out logistics are clearly communicated and executed efficiently.
  • Lead post-event recaps and evaluations, documenting performance metrics, successes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide assistance in the planning and execution of key game entertainment initiatives including pre-game, in-game, and halftime entertainment.
  • Aid in the hiring, development, and management of Training Camp and season long intern.
  • Provide event support to key Marketing and fan affinity initiatives as needed and determined by the Sr. Manager of Events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or sports management, hospitality, or related field.
  • 3-7 years’ experience working in the sports or live event industry, preferably with a sports team.
  • Participated in event execution and providing post-operational event feedback/recaps at the college, minor or pro-level is desired.
  • Experience in interacting with fans as well as input in developing creative marketing campaigns a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and large-scale activations.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of event and project management software a plus (i.e., Social Tables, Asana)
  • Experience in interacting with fans and input in developing creative marketing campaigns a plus
  • Participated in event execution and providing post-operational event feedback/recaps at the college, minor or pro-level is desired
