Job Summary

Own the simple community presence by managing social posts, engaging with locals, and planning events while supporting email outreach and partner relationships.

Social and community outreach: manage posts across platforms, respond to engagement, and track basic analytics.
Events and partnerships: build local relationships, support event logistics, and promote activities.
Marketing operations: assist emails/newsletters and content updates while juggling multiple tasks.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create and schedule posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as appropriate
Bonus = ability to work with Google/Meta paid ads
Build relationships with local partners, schools, businesses, and organizations
Distribute marketing materials and represent the organization at community events
Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and outreach lists
Support planning and logistics for events, workshops, or community activities
Assist with setup, check‑in, materials, and on‑site support
Help promote events through digital and in‑person outreach
Help maintain website content and updates

Requirements

Strong communication and writing skills
Familiarity with major social media platforms
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Comfortable interacting with community members and event attendees
Interest in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields
