Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, development and management of organization-wide programming for all marketing, foundation, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and business development efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-performance results to support business objectives.
• Provide overall strategic direction for marketing and community impact efforts.
• Champion efforts to advance the organization’s focus on developing and implementing collaborative solutions that achieve organizational DEI goals.
• Direct marketing + communications strategy;
• Lead the planning, development and execution of the WCCH Foundation;
• Drive organizational diversity, inclusion and equity (DEI) + impact efforts;
• Support organizational business development/hospital growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Certification in Philanthropy, Fund Development, or Nonprofit Management preferred (CFRE or similar certification desirable)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, communications, foundation operations, or related field
• Experience in fund development, donor relations, grant writing, and fundraising event planning preferred
• Experience working within a nonprofit, governmental, or healthcare system environment preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in grant writing and donor engagement preferred
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies, community outreach, and philanthropic initiatives
• Ability to coordinate and manage fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and special events
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders
