Job Summary

Own SEEAGs multi platform marketing and communications effort, shaping the yearly plan, content calendar, and storytelling across platforms while driving audience growth and program impact.

  • Content & channels: plan and execute across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and emergent platforms.
  • External comms and events: coordinate newsletters, blogs, website, press outreach, sponsor collateral, and Farm Day planning with partners.
  • Community and partnerships: recruit locations and volunteers, manage communications with vendors and sponsors, and oversee event logistics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an creative annual marketing and communications plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strategize and schedule content across all platforms.
  • Grow audiences across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels by creating engaging content including graphics, videos, stories, reels, and campaigns.
  • Track annual marketing budget for paid print, digital and social media.
  • Monitor comments and messages received on platforms and engage online with other organizations, businesses and community members.
  • Maintain and update website(s) content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist with photography, videography, and content collection during events, farms tours, and educational programs. Organize and maintain these files as part of SEEAG’s digital media assets.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics to inform future strategy.
  • Coordinate SEEAG’s external communications across social media, newsletters, website content, promotional materials, blogs, interviews, and press outreach for all of SEEAG’s programs.
  • Create compelling written and visual content for newsletters, blogs, email campaigns, websites, and promotional materials, with an emphasis on storytelling that highlights organizational impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a Business or Organization
  • Graphic Design: Proficient in Adobe Creative Program Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva, has experience with design and is comfortable creating and editing artwork
  • Photography and Videography: Experience in taking, editing, and selecting photos and videos
  • Web Design: Experience in website management using Squarespace and WordPress is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships within teams and across diverse demographic groups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is Preferred
  • Experience or interest in agriculture, food systems, education, or nonprofit organizations is preferred
