Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing-focused events, both intimate and larger-scale gatherings, designed to reach various target audiences, to drive interest and lead volume to the community.
  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure events are strategically designed to drive inquiries, increase tour traffic, and improve conversion rates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, referral sources, influencers, and media to enhance the reach and effectiveness of events.
  • Create and manage an annual event calendar aligned with sales goals, seasonal trends, and market demands.
  • Promote events through print and digital channels, collaborating with the marketing team to design and distribute promotional materials.
  • Develop and manage event budgets to achieve cost-effective and high-impact results.
  • Track event performance using KPIs such as attendance, lead generation, follow-up conversions, and ROI.
  • Support tours and on-site prospect visits with hospitality touchpoints that reinforce the brand experience.
  • Represent the community at external events, expos, and senior-focused gatherings to further promote awareness.
  • Adhere to sales and marketing budget and provide input and accurate pricing information for ads, directories, social media advertising, event costs, association memberships, and all marketing and sales-related costs, working with community, regional, and corporate teams.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, hospitality, or a related field is preferred, or an equal amount of education and experience.
  • At least three to five (3–5) years of professional event planning experience, with a focus on marketing, sales, or business development
  • Experience in Hospitality or Corporate Event Planning is preferred.
  • Proven track record of planning successful lead-generating events.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic marketing tools; experience with CRM or lead-tracking platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to support event schedules.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a focus on details and deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in Hospitality or Corporate Event Planning is preferred.
