Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design & Brand Support - Create visually compelling marketing materials including digital graphics, print collateral, signage, and promotional assets that align with YMCA brand standards.
  • Website Updates & Maintenance - Assist with maintaining and updating the YMCA website to ensure content is accurate, visually engaging, and user-friendly.
  • Content Creation - Develop graphics and content for programs, events, and campaigns across web, email, and social platforms.
  • Campaign Implementation - Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels as directed.
  • Social Media Support - Create and schedule social media content that aligns with current trends and YMCA brand guidelines.
  • Project & Workflow Coordination - Use project management tools such as monday.com to manage assigned projects, track deadlines, and coordinate marketing requests from departments.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting Support - Assist in monitoring website and social media performance and provide insights to the Director of Marketing.
  • Event & Program Promotion - Design and produce promotional materials to support YMCA programs and events.
  • Email & Newsletter Design - Assist in creating and distributing email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Photography & Videography Support - Capture and edit photos and videos as needed to support marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or related field preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related discipline preferred
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms)
  • Experience assisting with website updates (CMS platforms preferred)
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems preferred
  • Experience using project management tools such as monday.com preferred
  • Basic photography and video editing skills preferred
