Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Champions company’s qualifications/proposal submission efforts
  • Assists with the marketing specific training efforts for marketing staff, including training on marketing database, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration, custom reports, policies and procedures, etc.
  • Coordinates and develops public project pursuit presentations
  • Creates and develops company or market segment pieces
  • Develops industry award submittals as necessary to further promote company achievements and gain additional industry recognition
  • Manages the maintenance of marketing information—resumes, experience listings, AIA 305, and project descriptions
  • Develops a wide variety of material used in marketing/business development activities such as graphics, printed brochures, and other publications, digital images, displays, etc.
  • Coordinates special events for the company (e.g., Open Houses, project tours)
  • Creates and edits media/press releases
  • Creates and edits internal marketing pieces (safety, training, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (journalism, communications, etc.)
  • Generally requires 2-3 years of marketing experience or related fields (journalism, communications, etc.) with preference given to experience in the construction, engineering or architectural industries
  • Holds a basic understanding and experience in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to work within our proposals or assist as needed on proposals that are led by others
  • Basic understanding working within a database to gather information from more experienced marketing and/or operations personnel to save within the database
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
