Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit high-quality content across blogs, website pages, email campaigns, case studies, sales materials, and social media.
  • Develop clear, engaging messaging that communicates the value of ShotTracker technology to coaches, administrators, partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Translate complex technical features and product capabilities into compelling, benefit-driven narratives.
  • Produce content across multiple formats including long-form articles, short-form social media content, video scripts, thought leadership pieces, and product marketing materials.
  • Develop stories that highlight product insights, customer success, and real-world applications of ShotTracker technology.
  • Generate and pitch new content ideas aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key industry moments.
  • Research trends in sports technology, analytics, NIL, broadcast innovation, and performance data to inform content development.
  • Support the planning and execution of a structured editorial calendar aligned with product releases, events, and basketball seasons.
  • Apply SEO best practices to written content to improve visibility and audience reach.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and help identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in content marketing, content writing, communications, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging marketing content.
  • Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools, analytics platforms, and content performance tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and sales.
  • A natural curiosity about emerging trends in sports technology, analytics, and digital storytelling.

Preferred

  • Background working in sports, sports technology, SaaS, or B2B marketing environments.
  • Interest in basketball or familiarity with sports performance analytics.
  • Contribution to or ownership of an editorial content calendar.
  • Working knowledge of creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or video editing platforms.
  • Understanding of social media strategy across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools to enhance content creation workflows and productivity.
