Job Summary

Drive FC Tulsa’s community outreach by supporting event activation as a part-time, paid internship.

  • Represent FC Tulsa at marketing and community events, including home games.
  • Must be available for select home matches and weekly events.
  • This is a part-time, paid internship offering hands-on event activation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Be available multiple times per week to represent FC Tulsa at marketing/community events, festivals, and team-sponsored appearances.
  • Manage an ongoing calendar & list of marketing/community events and assist in their execution, including player community appearances, watch parties, media appearances, and more.
  • Set up and tear down a branded marketing booth, displays, merch, and promotional materials several times per week.
  • Able to drive throughout the FC Tulsa metro area and transport items needed to activate marketing pop ups, including tables, tents, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Engage with the public in a fun, energetic manner that represents FC Tulsa positively.
  • Distribute promotional materials and team merchandise to the public.
  • Manage inventory of promotional/marketing materials and communicate asset needs on a week-to-week basis.
  • Collect data from event attendees to support marketing initiatives.
  • Take phone photos and video of FC Tulsa event activations to promote the team's community/marketing outreach efforts.
  • Assist with generating creative strategies and content ideas to market the team.
  • Commit to attend assigned FC Tulsa home games and community events during the internship term to fulfill marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be available for select FC Tulsa home matches and multiple weekly events.
  • No experience required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group while handling several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience working in the soccer, sports, and/or entertainment industry.
  • Strong writing & editing skills.
  • Experience with photography and/or videography.
