Job Summary

Own MARC’s multi-channel communications and community presence, coordinating content, events, and partner relations to support fundraising and advocacy goals.

  • Content & Channels: Own social media, website, newsletters, blog, press, and digital assets across branding guidelines.
  • Fundraising & Events: Drive donor communications, sponsorship outreach, event planning, and community initiatives execution.
  • Measurement & Collaboration: Track marketing metrics and align with cross‑department needs to fuel strategic priorities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage MARC’s social media platforms, website, and digital communication channels.
  • Create and distribute engaging content, including social media posts, newsletters, press releases, blogs, email campaigns, photography, and video.
  • Develop marketing materials and maintain consistent branding across all communications and events.
  • Support fundraising efforts through donor database management, gift processing, donor acknowledgments, reporting, and sponsorship solicitation.
  • Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of fundraising events, Agency programs, and community initiatives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, volunteer engagement, promotional materials, and on-site event support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, businesses, and local organizations.
  • Represent MARC at networking, advocacy, and community events to increase awareness of the organization’s mission.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with staff across departments to support communications, special projects, and agency-wide objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism, or three years’ experience in marketing/communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing and/or digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of graphic design.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act quickly and remain positive and calm in a crisis.
  • Ability to drive and have available a personal vehicle.
