Own the cross-channel audience engagement stack for a nonprofit arts org, marrying organic content, paid social, email, and site experiences to drive attendance and Patron loyalty.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute Schubert Club’s digital marketing and audience engagement strategies across social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
  • Develop, schedule and publish engaging organic social media content that supports Schubert Club’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor and respond to audience comments, messages, and engagement across digital platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead paid social media and other digital advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget tracking, performance monitoring, and optimization.
  • Monitor campaign results and trends using Google Analytics, report on findings, and provide campaign recommendations.
  • Monitor trends and recommend new opportunities, platforms, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Manage Schubert Club’s email marketing initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timely, compelling communications that reach the right audiences.
  • Create, build, schedule, and distribute pre-and post-show emails and audience communications to enhance the concertgoing experience.
  • Analyze email performance and adjust as needed to optimize content engagement and effectiveness.
  • Create compelling written and visual content that reflects Schubert Club’s mission, programming, and organizational voice.
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a strong user experience.
  • Coordinate with Schubert Club’s website development partners on any issues or updates requiring technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to develop stories and support promotional initiatives and content across departments.
  • Help ensure consistent branding and messaging across all public-facing communications and marketing materials.
  • Answer ticket office calls as needed and assist patrons on the phone and in person, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Accurately process ticketing and related transactions in Audience View, maintaining confidentiality of patron information.
  • Clearly and proactively communicate accurate and consistent information regarding Schubert Club events, programs, and ticket office policies.
  • Assist Patron Services Manager and Director of Marketing & Communications with Box Office and Marketing-related tasks at concerts.
  • Assist with setup and onsite support for Schubert Club concerts and events.
  • Communicate with Schubert Club’s advertising partners, assist with tracking advertising contracts and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, digital media or related field required.
  • Demonstrated success managing social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, and digital content creation.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to adapt content and voice for different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience with ticketing software or another point-of-sale system, and/or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines with a varying workload.
  • Ability to proactively develop timelines, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience handling confidential information in a trustworthy, professional manner.
  • Experience working in nonprofit arts or cultural organizations
  • Graphic design or video editing skills
