Job Summary

Build and coordinate entry-level marketing content and digital assets to support outreach and program impact, while learning branding standards and basic metrics.

  • Content & Channel Production: Assist in creating, editing, scheduling, and posting social content and promotional materials across channels.
  • Asset & Brand Management: Maintain marketing assets and organize website content and educational resources for future use.
  • Outreach & Measurement: Support events, capture stories and media, and track basic engagement and website metrics to inform communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation, editing, scheduling, and posting of digital content for social media and other communication channels, including graphics, photos, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with uploading, formatting, and organizing content on the organization’s website to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Under the guidance of the Marketing & Communications team, assist in the creation and design of educational and outreach materials, including handouts, recipes, flyers, and digital resources, while adhering to organizational brand standards.
  • Help maintain and organize marketing assets, including photos, videos, templates, educational resources, and promotional materials for future use across programs and campaigns.
  • Assist with community outreach activities and events by preparing materials, capturing photos and video content, and providing on-site support to help promote programs and services.
  • Support the collection and development of stories, testimonials, and other content that highlight participant experiences, program successes, and organizational impact.
  • Assist with tracking basic marketing metrics, social media engagement, website analytics, and community feedback to help inform communication efforts and measure impact.
  • Collaborate with the Programs and Development teams on ongoing projects and provide general administrative and creative support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media (or a related field), and/or a minimum of two years of marketing, communications, content creation, or digital media experience. Additional experience may be considered in place of education.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Canva required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and website content management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail, grammar, and professional communication.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and website content management systems (note: listed as experience)
