Job Summary

Own the center’s external storytelling and press-ready outreach while managing the website, social channels, and events for a policy-focused financial markets center.

  • Growth/Outreach: Build and sustain relationships with reporters and policy groups while coordinating with university partners, think tanks, and visiting fellows.
  • Content & Channels: Ensure timely dissemination of leadership thought leadership across the website, social media, and events.
  • Operations & Platforms: Oversee day-to-day admin and center communications operations to keep visibility consistent.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Psaros Center’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator provides strategic and operational support for the development and implementation of the Psaros Center’s marketing and communications plan.
  • The individual will work closely with the Psaros Center team to assist in maintaining connections with reporters that cover financial markets and financial policy; and with other organizations such as think tanks and financial policymaking organizations.
  • Timely dissemination of thought leadership produced by the leadership of the center, Faculty Associates, and Visiting Fellows
  • Maintaining the website and social media handles of the Center and its leadership
  • Providing support for in-person and virtual events
  • Administrative support in the day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, finance, or public policy or related area.
  • Experience with website maintenance, social media, and relevant software is required.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

  • Experience with business/finance
