Job Summary

Coordinate MRLA's communications and campaigns across print, digital, and events to engage members and support recruitment and retention.

  • Own creation and distribution of all e-communications and media materials.
  • Must-have: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar, plus strong written and oral skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute all e-communications
  • Assist in marketing association events
  • Produce engaging content and features for publications and social media
  • Maintain a communications calendar for the association
  • Project manage the creation and distribution of The MRLA Magazine
  • Compile industry-related news articles and content to use for weekly association communications
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns as directed
  • Collaborates with Vice President, Communications & Brand Strategy to create and implement new marketing strategies for recruitment and retention of members
  • Develop social media campaigns and content to numerous social media accounts (including but not limited to X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Consistently update website content across all entities
  • Support in the creation of media materials such as press releases and media alerts
  • Maintain media lists and overall metric reporting
  • Onsite support for events – requires flexibility in hours and some travel
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables for all entities
  • Serve as a liaison for Women in Hospitality Leadership by assisting with event implementation, communication and organization with statewide Chapters
  • Other needs as assigned by the Vice President, Communications & Brand Strategy
