Job Summary

Owns the paid media financial engine end to end—from budgeting and forecasting to accruals and ROI-driven investment decisions—with solid cross-functional partnerships to keep marketing spend aligned with business goals.

  • Financial planning & budgeting: Own the Paid Media budgeting, forecasting, and accruals across programs and meet with channel leads regularly.
  • ROI and investment mix: Perform ROI analyses to guide channel spend and optimize allocation with media planning and finance.
  • Cross-functional governance: Partner with Finance and other marketing channels on large changes and ad hoc projects that affect the paid media budget.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Marketing Paid Media financial billing, budget, and special projects to ensure that the Channels continuously deliver business impact.
  • Prepare and maintain Paid Media forecasts and budgets across all programs
  • Own the Paid Media budgeting, forecasting, and accruals process with cross functional teams. Meet regularly with Paid Media Channel Leads to ensure proper execution of budgeted plans
  • Perform ROI analysis of Paid Media channels to drive investment mix recommendations, in partnership with media planning
  • Own the Paid Media monthly billing process across all Channels
  • Partner closely with Finance Leadership to stay informed on larger business changes that impact Marketing financials
  • Ad hoc projects as needed supporting Paid Media and other marketing Channels

Requirements

  • 5 years previous experience in financial planning and analysis or other analytic finance role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Marketing Analytics
  • Experience using Google Sheets for collaborative data tracking and Google Slides to present financial findings clearly to leadership
  • Experience managing and reconciling budgets directly within Medius, our third party reporting tool
