Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Agency portfolio and roster strategy: Assess agency capabilities, strengths, and gaps; support roster planning; identify capability redundancies or gaps and recommend actions to resolve.
  • Scope and contract management: Support the annual Scope of Work process and contract development; help define clear, outcome-oriented scopes; manage scope changes and track contract requests through to completion, in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
  • Performance and KPI management: Coordinate business reviews, scorecards, and KPIs; monitor agency performance; help agencies and business teams work through performance issues to resolution.
  • Financial stewardship and compensation: Track agency budgets, forecasts, and spend against targets; audit fees, hours, and third-party expenses; support the design of compensation and incentives that reward business priorities, in partnership with Procurement.
  • Relationship health and issue resolution: Build productive relationships with both agency and internal partners; help surface misalignment early and support the team in resolving it as an objective, neutral party focused on performance and outcomes.
  • Data, reporting, and analysis: Build dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio and spend reporting; keep reporting accurate and trustworthy; turn data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Governance and process improvement: Develop and maintain governance processes, documentation, and operating procedures; check that internal teams and agencies follow agreed process; find ways to simplify and improve.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Partner across Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and agency teams to align priorities, manage deliverables, and resolve day-to-day challenges.
  • Strategic communication: Prepare clear, executive-ready reports and presentations on agency strategy, performance, investment, and governance.
  • Change management: Support the rollout of new agency management routines, governance, and tools through documentation, communication, and team training.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in agency management, marketing operations, or a related business function required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience working with marketing agencies, media agencies, or large vendor ecosystems, ideally within a holding-company structure
  • Familiarity with agency operating models, Scope of Work development, or contract management
  • Familiarity with agency compensation and fee models, including incentive design
  • Experience supporting cross-functional work involving multiple stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data, spot trends, and turn them into actionable recommendations
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate well with both internal stakeholders and external agency partners
  • Strong relationship, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, and comfort staying neutral when interests conflict
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred

  • Experience building dashboards, scorecards, or in KPI monitoring & management
  • Experience with procurement, sourcing, or vendor management processes
  • Knowledge of marketing operations or integrated marketing practices
  • Experience leading process improvement or operational change
  • Sound commercial and financial judgment; experience with budgets, financial reporting, or commercial analysis
