Job Summary

Own end-to-end events for DoorDash Ads, from strategy to live experiences, with a focus on enterprise-scale pipeline and executive engagement.

  • Event portfolio ownership: plan, produce, onsite execution, and post-event amplification for 10+ events annually.
  • Executive and partner experiences: design high-touch VIP moments and immersive activations aligned with sales goals.
  • Cross-functional leadership: align messaging with Sales, Strategy & Ops, Comms, Growth Marketing, CRM, Product, and Creative to deliver integrated campaigns and measurable ROI.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of 10+ Ads events annually (industry tentpoles, owned events, and partner activations)
  • Manage end-to-end event lifecycle: planning → production → onsite execution → post-event amplification
  • Travel as needed to deliver best-in-class onsite experiences
  • Elevate DoorDash Ads presence across major industry events (e.g., Cannes Lions, Shoptalk, Possible, CES, Groceryshop)
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously evolve DoorDash’s event presence
  • Develop bold, differentiated concepts that surprise and delight prospects, partners, and internal teams
  • Partner with creative, comms, content, and agency teams to deliver: High-impact branding and activations; Thought leadership and speaking opportunities; Innovative, immersive experiences
  • Execute high-touch executive experiences (e.g., CMO dinners, private meetings, hospitality moments)
  • Partner with Sales to: Maximize pipeline generation and deal acceleration; Ensure events are designed to deliver measurable business outcomes, not just brand moments
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Strategy & Ops, Comms, Growth Marketing, CRM, Product, and Creative

Requirements

  • 6+ years of B2B event marketing experience, including large-scale conferences and activations
  • Experience interacting with AI tools (ie Claude, ChatGPT, etc) and display curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to blend AI with the day-to-day role.
  • Have owned event budgets and complex, multi-event portfolios
  • Demonstrate a track record of driving business impact (pipeline, revenue, partnerships) through events
  • Are highly organized and able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
  • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take full ownership of outcomes
  • Are an excellent communicator, comfortable working with senior leaders and executives
  • Have experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Bring a strong mix of creative thinking + operational excellence

Preferred

  • Experience in Ads, Media, AdTech, or Retail Media Networks
  • Experience executing executive-level or VIP experiences
  • Background in agency or in-house experiential marketing teams
  • Experience working at a high-growth company or startup
