Job Summary

Own retention and subscription lifecycle programs across email and SMS, driving churn reduction, longer tenure, and higher LTV while collaborating with Product, Brand, and cross-functional partners; lead analytics, testing, and actionable roadmap decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Retention & Subscription Strategy
  • - Own retention and subscription lifecycle strategy across email and SMS, from onboarding through renewal and win-back
  • - Design and continuously optimize subscriber journeys that reduce churn, extend subscription tenure, and increase LTV
  • - Build and manage cancel-save and pause flows, loyalty-driven engagement programs, and reactivation campaigns tailored to subscriber cohorts
  • - Partner with Product and Brand leadership to align lifecycle programs with subscription growth goals and seasonal initiatives
  • Analytics & Insights
  • - Own the retention analytics framework: define KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver weekly and monthly reporting on subscriber health, churn drivers, and LTV trends
  • - Conduct cohort analysis to identify at-risk segments and uncover LTV expansion opportunities
  • - Design and interpret A/B and multivariate tests with clear hypotheses and statistical rigor, and translate results into actionable roadmap decisions
  • - Proactively surface insights to Brand and Performance leadership: not just what happened, but why and what to do next

Requirements

  • - 4–7 years in lifecycle, retention, or CRM, preferably subscription-focused
  • - Proven track record of reducing churn and growing subscriber LTV
  • - Strong command of analytics: owns dashboards, runs cohort analyses, and presents data-backed recommendations to leadership
  • - Hands-on experience building and managing email and SMS programs end to end
  • - Deep understanding of subscription model dynamics: recurring revenue, cancel-save flows, renewal optimization, and lifecycle-driven upsell
  • - Experience with segmentation, journey mapping, and multivariate testing at scale
  • - Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment with multiple stakeholders
  • - Proficiency with ESP/CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar) and analytics tools (Looker, Amplitude, or similar)
  • - A proactive, organized operator who owns outcomes
