Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Translate creative briefs and strategic insights into compelling visual concepts and executions.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, creative strategists, and other designers to ideate and produce omnichannel campaigns across digital, mobile, social, and in-store platforms.
  • Contribute to campaign development from initial concept through final execution, ensuring deliverables meet brand standards and creative excellence.
  • Provide design support for multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and feedback in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner closely with the Art Director to align on design direction, campaign consistency, and best practices.
  • Stay up to date on current design trends, retail marketing innovations, and consumer behavior to bring fresh thinking to the team.
  • Incorporate and maintain both Walmart’s brand guidelines and advertiser brand standards in all creative outputs.
  • Work with production teams to prepare files for final delivery and ensure pixel-perfect execution.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in design, preferably in an in-house agency, advertising agency, or retail media network.
  • BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or related field.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates conceptually strong, strategically grounded, and beautifully crafted work across digital and integrated channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma proficiency required. Motion experience (After Effects) is a plus.
  • Experience designing for web, mweb, and app with a strong understanding of UX/UI and shopper behavior.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to receive and incorporate feedback constructively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
