Job Summary

Own metadata governance and content-operations for a DAM with a sharp focus on tagging discipline, modular content reuse, and workflow QA, powered by dashboards and vendor coordination.

  • Metadata & taxonomy: define and maintain taxonomy, tagging rules, and naming conventions to improve reuse across channels.
  • Content reuse: enable modular structures and reuse-first practices in DAM to speed asset assembly.
  • Operational visibility: dashboards track cycle time, reuse rate, tagging completeness, and guide prioritization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Tagging and metadata execution: Configure and maintain taxonomy fields, tagging rules, naming conventions, and metadata templates; monitor tagging completeness and data quality
  • Reuse and modular setup support: Support modular content structures in the DAM (components, relationships, versioning) and help teams apply reuse-first practices
  • Workflow configuration and QA: Assist with workflow setup and updates, permissions, routing rules, and validation checks
  • Reporting and insights: Build and maintain operational dashboards (cycle time, reuse rate, tagging completeness, rework drivers) and provide insights to inform prioritization
  • User support and troubleshooting: Serve as first-line support for platform issues, triage tickets, diagnose common problems, and escalate to vendors as needed
  • Compliance support: Help ensure submissions and stored assets meet documentation, audit trail, and status requirements
  • Vendor coordination: Coordinate day-to-day follow-ups with platform partners on defects, minor enhancements, and SLA tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience administering marketing or content management platforms (e.g., DAM, workflow tools, content hubs), including workflow configuration, permissions, routing, and QA checks.
  • Proven experience managing taxonomy, metadata, tagging rules, naming conventions, and supporting modular content structures for efficient reuse across channels.
  • Experience building operational dashboards, tracking content performance metrics (cycle time, reuse rate, tagging completeness), and providing actionable insights to support prioritization and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide first-line user support, troubleshoot platform issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure content operations comply with regulatory, audit, and documentation standards.
