Job Summary

Own end-to-end ecommerce and brand activation for two consumer brands, driving on-site experience, promotions, and content while aligning with merchandising and pricing strategy.

  • Own ecommerce P&L and on-site experiences across D2C sites.
  • Lead cross-channel launches, CRM, and content to drive revenue and growth.
  • Build and test the marketing plan with clear business cases and learnings for the next cycle.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the quarterly marketing plan including CRM
  • Translate business needs into strategic site and campaign work, with an associated business case and success metrics for each initiative.
  • Run cross-channel campaigns end-to-end: launches, seasonal programs, promotions and collaborate with external PR professionals.
  • Protect brand integrity. Fresh Zen’s nutritional claims (GF, vegan, no added sugars, no preservatives) stay with Fresh Zen. OohNami!’s bolder, umami-forward positioning stays with OohNami!.
  • Direct-to-Consumer & Ecommerce Operations: Manage the on-site experience end-to-end — PDPs, landing pages, collections, homepages, and seasonal refreshes — in alignment with merchandising strategy and the retail calendar.
  • Own the ecommerce P&L across our D2C sites: merchandising, site content, promotions, conversion.
  • Partner with the CEO on pricing, bundling, subscription, and loyalty strategy.
  • Set up, schedule, and QA promotions and campaigns before launch. Analyze results post-launch with the team and feed learnings into the next cycle.
  • Own UAT for new site experiences, working with the technical partner on testing, validation, and sign-off. Monitor the site for bugs and broken experiences. Log tickets, coordinate fixes with the technical partner, and close the loop with the team
  • Social, Content & Influencer: Own the social calendar and day-to-day presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in ecommerce operations and marketing, ideally at a small or founder-led company where you’ve built from scratch rather than inherited a playbook.
  • Track record of delivering: campaigns that deliver results, engaging commerce experiences, timely and relevant content programs that grow audience and revenue.
  • Fluent in the D2C stack: Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta and TikTok ads, GA4, an SEO platform (SEMrush, Screaming Frog), and at least one influencer or affiliate platform.
  • Analytical mindset. You establish metrics, measure what matters, and articulate and test hypotheses rather than guess.
  • Demonstrated ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment. Proven ability to break complex problems into actionable steps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to adapt your style for the audience — founder, agency partner, retail buyer, creator, or customer.
  • Comfortable using AI across content, research, CRM, analytics, and creative ops — not as a crutch, but as a way to move faster and think sharper.
  • Fluent in brand. You can hold the line on visual and creative standards, give useful direction to designers and partners, and recognize when something isn't right — and say why.
  • Curious about food, flavor, and the people who cook with our products.
  • Consumer Brand or CPG experience, food and beverage or specialty/grocery is a plus

Preferred

  • Multi-brand portfolio experience, with the discipline to keep brand stories distinct.
  • PR, retail sales, or trade marketing exposure.
  • Photography, video, or hands-on content production skills.
  • Consumer Brand or CPG experience, food and beverage or specialty/grocery is a plus
