Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Manager, Brand Content Marketing keeps the editorial calendar moving across email, social, web, webinars, and live events — making sure content aligns with Foundation strategy, growth priorities, program launches, seasonal moments, and audience needs.
  • This role is highly hands-on, with a focus on producing timely, useful, and energizing content for entrepreneurs. That may include shaping a social series around founder growth, developing short-form video from a live conversation, drafting a newsletter, editing a founder story, building event promotion, or tightening copy before it goes live.
  • The Manager, Brand Content Marketing also supports the development of our small business webinars and virtual programming, helping identify timely topics, align speakers, shape outlines, review presentation content, and turn live sessions into follow-up content, social storytelling, and email engagement.
  • The role works closely with Marketing, Experience, external partners, subject-matter experts, and entrepreneurs in our community to source ideas, shape stories, and deliver content with both strategic purpose and community value.
  • This person helps maintain the Foundation’s voice across registration pages, newsletters, founder stories, social captions, event copy, campaign messaging, and video content.
  • They also use audience data and channel performance to understand what is resonating, improve content, and bring forward recommendations that help the team work smarter.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing, brand content, social media, editorial, communications, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear, useful, and engaging.
  • Experience managing content across web, email, social media, video, webinars, and/or live events.
  • Demonstrated ability to create content that builds brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports marketing goals.
  • Versed in drafting briefs and working with video, graphics and media teams.
  • Strong understanding of channel-specific best practices, including social-first storytelling, email marketing, newsletter content, audience segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing content for webinars, events, newsletters, founder/customer stories, thought leadership, or branded content.
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into clear content plans, campaign messaging, and high-quality assets.
  • Versed in web content development and familiarity with UX best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, approvals, creative inputs, and production details.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch is an American luxury lifestyle brand founded in New York in 2004. What began with a boutique in Manhattan and an e-commerce site has since grown into a global business with 400 stores across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Australia. In addition, the brand is available at more than 3,000 department and specialty stores worldwide. Tory Burch started her company with a clear purpose: to build a global luxury brand and a foundation that would advance women’s economic power. Designed in her New York atelier, the collection includes ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, beauty and home. The Foundation was established in 2009 to provide women entrepreneurs in the United States with access to capital, education and community. Tory has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year, WWD Women’s Designer of the Year, Harper’s Bazaar’s Designer of the Year, the Parsons School of Design’s Table Award, the Wharton School’s Jay H. Baker Retailing Center’s Retail Excellence Award, the SCAD Étoile Award, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award, Forbes’s Most Powerful Women in the World, and Glamour’s Women of the Year. Her first book, Tory Burch In Color (Abrams, 2014), was a New York Times Best Seller, and her designs have been featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
