Responsibilities

• Own the Klaviyo program end to end: flow strategy, build, scheduling, segmentation, list health, and reporting
• Manage and optimize existing flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.) and build new ones as needs arise
• Partner with our copywriter and graphic designer to keep every send on-brand, on-voice, and genuinely useful to the person receiving it
• Report on core lifecycle metrics (open/click/conversion rates, revenue attribution, list growth and health) and turn that reporting into a testing roadmap
• Evaluate and improve the website experience for returning and warm traffic — e.g., whether our homepage does enough to communicate what makes Frank Darling different, and where else in the journey we're leaving conversion on the table
• Scope and help build landing pages for paid campaigns
• Identify moments in the journey (post-appointment, post-purchase, post-browse) where a better experience or message would move someone forward
• Research and recommend retention marketing platforms and tools that could extend what we can do beyond Klaviyo
• Build and manage a retention program once tooling is in place — loyalty, replenishment/upgrade triggers, win-back campaigns, etc.
• Explore and implement churn prediction and reduction tactics, working with our data/analytics resources to identify at-risk customers and design interventions

Requirements

• 5+ years in lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing, ideally for a consumer brand; agency-side experience is fine if paired with real ownership of a program
• Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo (or a comparable ESP) — flows, segmentation, deliverability, testing
• A track record of thinking beyond the inbox: comfortable weighing in on website/landing page experience and conversion, not just email copy and design
• Familiarity with retention or loyalty platforms (evaluating and/or implementing one is a plus)
• Analytical enough to build a churn/retention framework from scratch, but able to translate that into plain-language recommendations for the team
• Strong collaborator — this role sits at the intersection of creative, web, data, and brand, and needs someone who can work well across all of them
• A genuine interest in high-consideration, high-touch purchases (jewelry, weddings, or similar categories) is a plus, but not required
