Job Summary

Cross-media strategy with business-focused outcomes driving media planning and evaluation. Translate inputs into strategic narratives, align across disciplines, and raise the level of media thinking.

  • Cross-media Strategy: Define how each channel contributes over time and establish testing and measurement approaches.
  • Planning & Alignment: Lead media planning, budget decisions, and collaboration with Solution Groups for coherence.
  • Storytelling & Influence: Present clear strategies and act as a sparring partner to elevate media thinking.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic, cross-media strategies aligned with client business and marketing objectives.
  • Translate complex inputs - business challenges, data, research, and market context - into clear strategic narratives, KPI and media frameworks.
  • Define how different media choices contribute over time and set appropriate evaluation approaches (such as incrementality testing, brand monitoring, or cross-channel performance analysis).
  • Lead media planning and guide media mix and budget decisions based on objectives, audience behavior, and market context.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Groups across Precis to ensure strategic alignment across disciplines.
  • Present strategies, insights, and recommendations in a structured, visually strong, and compelling way.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner, contributing to raising the level of media thinking and delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic media role, such as media strategy or media planning.
  • Strong ability to lead media strategy from a broader business and marketing perspective, connecting brand considerations, performance outcomes, and media choices into a coherent approach.
  • Experience evaluating media effectiveness beyond channel-specific metrics, using broader measurement, testing, or analytical approaches to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience across a broad range of media types (e.g. programmatic buying, offline media, social, and search), with an understanding of how different channels contribute in different ways over time.
  • A strong sense for structure, clarity, and visual storytelling, able to communicate complex strategic thinking in a clear and compelling way.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, challenging briefs, and acting as a strategic driver in discussions.
