Job Summary

Own the product copy lifecycle on Amazon PDPs and related content, working from brand guidelines and data to drive conversion, while owning updates, assets, and cross-team collaboration.

  • Strategic Product Copy: craft engaging product content using brand, keyword, and competitive insights.
  • Content Ops: manage periodic updates, keyword implementation, PDP uploads, and asset sharing.
  • Collaboration & Growth: support the Copy Team, assist with creative work, and adopt best practices and new opportunities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategic Product Copy. Leverage brand guides, keyword & competitor research, and other resources to craft relevant, engaging product copy that converts.
  • Proofread and Edit. Write and proofread copy and e-commerce content across a wide variety of media, while maintaining platform standards and best practices. Strong grammatical and spelling skills required.
  • Manage Ongoing Content Updates. Facilitate periodic content optimizations and keyword implementation using data gathered from ad campaigns, industry trends, and extensive keyword research.
  • Support the Copy Team. Provide support to Copywriters on large catalog optimization projects.
  • Assist with Other Creative Work. Occasionally assist in the production of creative branded content for our clients. This includes ad copy, brand taglines, PDP module language, etc.
  • Asset Management. Compile and format PDP uploads to be shared with appropriate teams for marketplace upload.
  • Research & Development. Stay up to date with industry best practices while identifying new strategic opportunities to help brands expand their marketplace presence.
  • Have a Collaborative Mentality. Be willing to assist the team in any way possible.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a copywriter, either in-house or agency
  • Strong writing and grammatical skills
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’ regarding how to best position products on Amazon through product content and creative
  • Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong communication skills and time management
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented in a results-driven environment
  • Based local to Denver, CO and available to work in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week

Preferred

  • Client relationship experience is a plus
  • Amazon marketplace experience is a plus
  • Clothing industry content writing experience is a plus
