Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Event Manager is responsible for assisting in Event and Trade Show Planning,
  • coordination & onsite activation of various Event Marketing functions. Handles processing of
  • Invoice/Event Payments and Expenses accrued by Event Marketing Staff. Coordinates travel, rental cars
  • and hotels for all Event and other MEC Staff.
  • Event/Trade Show Coordination/Planning – Including but not limited to – Union paperwork,
  • catering, staffing needs, travel, rentals etc.
  • Processing of all Event Marketing Invoices/Expenses directly related to Events.
  • Hotels Reservations and Rental Car coordinator for Event Marketing and other Staff.
  • Set-up and Maintenance of Event Marketing Database including – Event planning, Invoicing, inventory, Event, projects, travel and more.
  • Administrative duties for the Event Marketing Department.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Event planning, time management, communications, presentations and organizational skills.
  • Advanced computers skills including Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word. SAP Accounting Program
  • Concur Expense Reporting and Event Pro Software.
  • Professional verbal and written communicative skills.
  • Knowledge of AV equipment, catering, security, permits and event transportation.
  • Excellent Team Work skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to manage projects and other administrative staff.
