Job Summary
Support media relations by assisting the PR team with outreach, status tracking, and tailored communications while gaining hands-on experience in writing, research, and tooling to help clients connect with targeted media.
- Media Outreach: assist pitching and maintain detailed status reports.
- Research & Communications: perform media/product research and draft letters and client correspondence.
- Operations & Learning: use MS Office and receive direction/training to grow in public relations.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with public relations team
- Pitch clients to media and keep detailed status reports
- Do research on media and products as needed
- Write letters and correspondence to media and clients
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP & Outlook)
- (Intern will be provided with direction and training)
Requirements
- Current student - PR, Marketing, English, Journalism
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week
- Must have a valid Driver’s Licnese, own transportation and ability to run errands
