Job Summary

You will own the end-to-end summer project translating brand strategy into customer experiences, coordinating with managers and stakeholders, proposing solutions, and presenting progress while building cross-functional tools and insights.

  • Collaborate across PMB and external partners to shape brand outputs

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead an independent summer project focused on translating brand strategy into tangible, innovative customer experiences
  • Learn about and support the various aspects of the United brand, such as customer experience design, visual identity, and more
  • Meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to provide status updates on projects
  • Prepare and deliver project briefings that translate complex information into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members in the PMB Department on cross-functional projects
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful product launches
  • Proactively develop strategic and problem-solving skills
  • With support, seek and analyze inputs and data from a variety of sources to support decisions
  • Propose solutions to business questions, leveraging strategic thinking
  • Share ideas and identify trends to help shape the future of the brand

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Design Thinking, or Entrepreneurship. Preference for rising seniors; open to recent graduates who are matriculating into a graduate program.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver clear, concise and professionally written communications
  • Experience using spreadsheets and graphing information
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) is a PLUS
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and the ability to leverage AI effectively to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.
