Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content execution and channel management
  • Build and manage an IG posting schedule based on a content plan provided by our team
  • Write or refine captions in the brand voice (clear, warm, authoritative; mental-health appropriate)
  • Coordinate asset creation needs (Reels edits, carousels, simple graphics, story frames) either yourself or with our designer/editor if needed
  • Publish posts, Reels, Stories; manage highlights as needed
  • Community management: monitor and respond to comments/DMs and flag anything sensitive or requiring clinical discretion
  • NOTE: interview guests are anonymous and you'll primarily be working with audio only conversations
  • Paid campaigns (required)
  • Set up and manage targeted Instagram ad campaigns (Meta Ads Manager)
  • Build audiences (custom, lookalike, interest-based), test creatives, and iterate

Requirements

  • Must-haves
  • Proven experience managing Instagram for a person-led brand and/or company
  • Proven experience running targeted IG ad campaigns through Meta Ads Manager (please show examples)
  • Strong copy instincts and ability to write in a sensitive, professional mental health tone
  • Familiarity with best practices for mental health marketing (no unethical claims, no “diagnosing,” careful with triggers and privacy)
  • Reliable, consistent communicator; can work with deadlines and approvals
  • US East Coast-based or at minimum overlapping working hours

Preferred

  • Experience in mental health, psychology, wellness, or healthcare marketing
  • Design skills (Canva) and/or light video editing for Reels (CapCut/Premiere)
  • Experience growing thought leadership accounts (not just product brands)
