Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution for our clients, including a large Korean retail client’s influencer campaigns and affiliate program;
  • Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge between US-based teams and Korean stakeholders;
  • Help create and localize campaign strategy, messaging, and creator briefs;
  • Ensure timelines, deliverables, and campaign quality standards are met.
  • Source, vet, and recommend Korean and other creators across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Naver, Kakao, etc.)
  • Manage outreach, negotiations, onboarding, and ongoing communication with creators
  • Guide creators to produce high-performing, on-brand content
  • Stay on top of pricing norms, contracts, and local expectations
  • Provide insights on influencer trends, platform shifts, and consumer behavior
  • Advise internal teams on what will (and won’t) work culturally

Requirements

  • Native Korean fluency + strong professional English
  • 2–5 years experience in influencer marketing, social media, or creator partnerships
  • Deep familiarity with the Korean retail and creator ecosystems and platforms
  • Experience communicating directly with executives and creators/influencers
  • Strong cultural intuition; understand tone, trends, and audience expectations in Korea
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams across time zone
  • Experience working with retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands
  • Experience in an agency, platform, or creator-focused company
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing tools or SaaS platforms
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing campaign budgets

Preferred

  • You don’t just follow trends; you spot them early
  • You can tell when a campaign will fail culturally before it launches
  • Creators actually enjoy working with you (this matters more than resumes)
  • You’re comfortable pushing back on global teams when something won’t land locally
  • You balance execution speed with attention to detail
  • Able to operate independently in-market without heavy oversight
  • Highly responsive and organized in a fast-moving environment
  • Willing to build processes where none currently exist
  • You’ll directly influence how we build in this market
  • You’ll help define our creator strategy and standards locally
  • You’ll have visibility with leadership and real ownership
  • This is a ground-floor opportunity; not a maintenance role.

Benefits

  • Performance-based incentives
  • Opportunity for growth as we expand in Asia
